Research of cracking behavior in the RC member after cyclic loading

As an earthquake beyond seismic design could happen, it is essential to discuss countermeasures to the large deformation of concrete structure.

The purpose of this study is to propose the reinforcing method which could satisfy the certain structural performance and safe performance.
We discuss about reinforcing method of RC member with spire rebar and wire mesh which could prevent buckling of axial rebar. To evaluate the effect of reinforcement, internal crack behavior after cyclic loading is observed.
