Numerical analysis of structural performance of existing disqualified RC structures

It is important to investigate the structural performance of concrete structure in existence because the standard specifications for concrete structures have been changed along with a time. Then, it is big problem that we don’t have many knowledge of structural performance of the existing disqualified RC structures right now. The existing disqualified RC structures have round bar, low ratio of rebar, and so on...
Now, it is predicted that the hypothesis of perfect bonding between rebar and concrete could not be applied in case of the existing disqualified RC structures.

In our laboratory, experimental and analytical approach is carried out in order to enhance the evaluation method of structural performance of the existing disqualified RC structures.
